AISA on Wednesday demonstrated against the government in front of the Union Ministry of Education to protest against the non-implementation of OBC reservation in the medical entrance exam NEET. Demanded for the implementation of OBC reservation, accusing the government of ignoring the rules in NEET by raising slogans against the government.
AISA warned that if the demands were not met, the students would continue to sit on dharna and would hold an even bigger dharna. Some students also put forth their views in front of the secretary of MHRD. Students say that the central government not fixing the quota of OBCs in the medical entrance examination and not following the reservation in 69 thousand teacher recruitment by the state government is not justified.
The government abolished the 27% quota of OBCs in NEET. The silence of the OBC leaders involved in the government on this is beyond everyone’s understanding. It is worth noting that ever since the announcement of abolishing 27% quota of OBC in NEET and 69 thousand teacher recruitment scam, there have been continuous protests in Delhi and UP.
Earlier, Apna Dal workers took out a protest march from Chitaipur in Varanasi regarding NEET and 69 thousand teacher recruitment scam. Along with this, it was also warned that if the demands are not met, then they will protest fiercely on reaching the examination center, efforts will also be made to stop the NEET exam to be held on 12th September.
