In village Udnatanda of Kurra police station area, the miscreants beat up the Dalit family for refusing to cut the neem tree. During this, there has also been an allegation of setting fire to the thatch. The police have started investigation by registering a case on the basis of Tahrir.

Saroja Devi Katheria’s wife Ramautar, a resident of village Udnatanda Khidrpur of Kurra police station area, told in the Tahrir given in Kurra police station that a neem tree is standing in front of her house. To whom Dabang Malikan Singh, Jaiveer’s sons Puttu Singh, Ramkumar’s sons Surajvaksh, Deepak, Atul’s sons Ramkumar had come to cut. On protesting, the above people thrashed his son Shishupal by abusing casteist. When Shishupal’s wife Geeta Devi, who is handicapped, came to rescue him, he also beat her up.

Complaint also made to Home Secretary, DM, SP

Mainpuri. The victim alleges that during the assault, the miscreants set fire to the thatch outside the house. The information of which was given to the fire brigade. Fire brigade reached the spot and doused the fire. But till then the goods worth Rs 20,000 of the household kept in the thatch were burnt to ashes. The victim has also complained about this matter to DM, SP and Home Secretary and Scheduled Tribe Cell. In this regard, Kurra police station in-charge Sudama Lal said that the police is investigating the matter on the complaint of the victim. The report will be filed.
