Ravindra’s brother Vinay said, “My brother Ravindra used to drive a Jugaad car. Our mother has already passed away. We had gone to bathe at the ghat for donating our mother’s body. When we took a bath, brother When we were returning from Jugaad car, some boys near Vijaypur village on Narhat Path of Sirdala police station area were asking for a donation of one thousand rupees for Saraswati Puja. Vinay further explains, “My brother Ravindra Rajvanshi gave them a donation of only Rs 20 when those youths put more pressure. They were all asking for a donation of Rs 1,000 for Saraswati Puja. My brother refused to give Rs 1,000. Had done it. On this they started abusing. My brother opposed it. They started beating him on this.

The young man was beaten to death
Vinay says while crying, “There were about 12 to 15 youths who asked for donations. When they did not give the donations, they thrashed the brother so much that he fell unconscious on the ground. We all took him to Sadar Hospital for treatment. But , the doctors declared him brought dead. He had suffered deep internal injuries due to which he died.”
