Nuh: In a horrific incident reported from Nuh district of Haryana, a three-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a 13-year-old boy, police said Wednesday. The shocking incident took place in Bicchor village in the district on Tuesday.
Police said the victim is undergoing treatment at a hospital and her condition is stated to be critical.
The girl’s mother was going out for some work but she insisted on coming along with her. As the child was crying, her mother asked her siblings to take care of her. The woman left her home without knowing that the girl was following her, according to a report in Hindustan Times.
The woman was at least 50 metres ahead of her daughter and could not hear her cries due to noise on the road. The girl continued to follow her mother and was intercepted by the juvenile accused, who has a home nearby. The accused took her to a field and raped her, said Shamsher Singh, deputy superintendent of police (Punhana).
As the villager heard the girl’s cries from the field, they rushed to her rescue. The girl’s father also reached the spot and raised and alarm.
It is alleged that the local residents tried to hush up the matter but the girl’s father reported the matter to police. After this, senior police officials reached the spot.
“A special investigation team was formed as soon as the matter was reported to police. The team is being led by DSP Shamsher Singh. The crime team also inspected the spot and collected the samples, said Varun Singla, superintendent of police, Nuh.
