A 14-year-old girl student of Class VII Dalit class has been kidnapped from Mafo village under Ghat Kusumbha block of Sheikhpura district. In connection with the incident, the girl’s mother has lodged an FIR of kidnapping at Mehus police station.
In this regard, the station president cum sub-inspector of police Vinod Kumar Jha told that in the FIR lodged, the girl’s mother has mentioned that her daughter had gone from her home to the middle school in the village on February 17. But she did not return home till evening after the school holiday. After this he did a lot of research for the daughter.
Even after tracing the phone to all the relatives, there was no trace of the daughter. Then she was compelled to reach the police station. The father of the kidnapped girl works as a laborer living in Mumbai. He is also returning home after getting information about the incident. The station president said that constant efforts are being made to get the clue of the abducted girl. He said that the kidnapped girl would be recovered very soon. He said that the criminals involved in the incident would also be nabbed soon.
