Mahoba. About a dozen people brutally thrashed a Dalit family in Mahoba over a dispute over taking a goat. This case is near Satianpura Masjid of Kulpahar Kotwali area. The Dalit family, troubled by the beatings, has demanded action by giving a complaint in the Kotwali.
According to the complaint given to the police, Dharamdas, who lives near Satianpura Masjid of Kulpahar Kotwali, has said that he was sitting outside the house with his family. Then Santosh Khatik started forcibly taking the tied goat outside my house with him. When my wife objected to this, she started beating. When my sons tried to save their mother, the people along with Santosh Khatik started beating them with sticks. He said that the entire video of this hooliganism has been captured in the CCTV camera. Even after giving the complaint of the matter to the Kotwali, the police have registered a case against the accused in minor sections. The whole family is shocked by this beating and hooliganism. He alleged that Santosh Khatik and his associates have the protection of the police.
The victim Dharamdas, who lives in Kulpahar town, told that the terror of Santosh Khatik is increasing continuously. Whoever opposes this, there is an incident of assault on him. The same has happened with our family as well. There was a goat tied in front of our door, which we protested to take away and Santosh Khatik along with his companions attacked our family.
